William Allen Littrell, Sr.

William Allen Littrell, Sr., 89, of Owensville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 3, 1934, to Charles Edward and Lucy Stevens (Adair) Littrell.

He was united in marriage to Mary Rosalie Dotson, July 22, 1972, in Cuba. 

William served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956–58. He worked for Meramec Mine in Sullivan, Maverick Tube and Callaway Nuclear Plant. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Owensville.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lucy; brothers, Leroy and George Littrell; sister, Sarah Littrell; and great-granddaughter, Brittany.

He is survived by wife, Mary Rosalie; children, Tony Littrell, William A. Littrell, Jr., Darrell Littrell, Andy Littrell, Donald Kelly and Tammy Kelly; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Albert Littrell; brother, Donald Littrell and wife Leola; and sisters, Jane Readman and Diane Light.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
