Warren ‘Dale’ Hulsey

Warren “Dale” Hulsey, 61, of Bourbon, MO, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. 

Dale was born in Rolla, MO, Sep. 18, 1959, to Warren Theodore and Betty (Schmitt) Hulsey. He grew up and attended Sullivan schools and graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1978. Dale was united in marriage to Debra Denise Blankenship and they were blessed with one son, Brett. 

Dale worked in the Metal Building Industry all his life. He learned the trade at a very early age from his father, Warren, in the family business, Associated Crafts. Dale was most recently employed with Star Building Systems, which is part of Cornerstone Building Brands.

Dale and his Dad were very close. They enjoyed hunting and fishing together. Dale also enjoyed running, cycling, golfing and racing motorcycles. He could fix anything and was always willing to help Brett work on his home repairs. Most of all, Dale loved his grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. 

Dale is survived by his wife, Debbie Hulsey, of Bourbon, MO; his son, Brett Hulsey and significant other, Stephanie Hoffson, of Sullivan, MO; three grandchildren: Kale, Korielle and Ryan Jo Hulsey, all of Sullivan, MO; three sisters: Becky Binkholder and husband, Steve, Diane Bunch and husband, Steve, and Jennifer Day and husband, Jack, all of Sullivan, MO; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Betty Hulsey. 

Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m, Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. 

Funeral Services will be private, for family only.
