Wanda M. Lahmann, 85, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Wanda Marie Lahmann was born February 20, 1938, in Huzzah, Missouri, to Herman and Gladine (Ash) Parker. Wanda spent her early years in Huzzah, Missouri, where she attended grade school at the Hamilton Hollow School. After completing her education, Wanda entered the workforce, beginning her career at a shoe factory known as, Fashion Heel. She later worked at P and Hersh Department Store and Dollar General before becoming self-employed as a cleaner. Throughout her life, Wanda was known for her strong work ethic and unwavering determination.

On March 4, 1955, Wanda married the love of her life, David Lahmann, and together they made their home in Sullivan, Missouri, where they raised their family. Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Her love for her family was only matched by her love for Jesus.

Wanda was a proud and active member of the New Testament Baptist Church of Sullivan, where she served in various capacities over the years. She taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and participated in visitation, check-ins, decorating, and card ministry. Wanda's faith was unwavering and she was known for her loving, thoughtful, and faith-filled nature.

In her free time, Wanda enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Wanda was a true Christian woman, always putting the needs of others before her own and finding joy in serving those around her.

Wanda is survived by her loving daughter, Theresa Lund and husband Drew of Sullivan, MO; two granddaughters, Joselyn Enloe and husband Michael of Sullivan, MO, and Heidi Hawkins and husband Robert of Saint Clair, MO; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Everly, Emmett, Peyton, Spencer, Serenity, Felicity, and Mechelle; four sisters: Frances Taylor of Sullivan, MO, Mae Turnbough of Arkansas, Betty Beers of Desoto, MO, and Barbara Rhives of Festus, MO; numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David; her son, Michael; her four brothers, Albert, Alvin, Ed, and Dennis Parker; and her sister, Dorothy Austin.

Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan, MO with Pastor Josh Wright officiating.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday prior to the service at New Testament Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Testament Baptist Church of Sullivan.
