Vivy A. Floros

Vivy A. Floros, 43, of Sullivan, MO, succumbed to breast cancer on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan. 

Vivy Ann Floros was born in Potosi, MO, on October 5, 1977, to Peter Floros and Florence Kline. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan, graduating in the class of 1997. Following high school, Vivy enlisted in the United States Navy, where she honorably served our country. She eventually attended and graduated from Metro Business College in Rolla, with a Medical Assistant Degree. Later in life, Vivy was employed for some years with Fidelity Communications. 

Vivy became a mother to her beautiful daughter, Arielle, on March 15, 2004. Arielle was the light of her life. Vivy was known to be a very outgoing and friendly person; she also loved to paint. 

Vivy is survived by her daughter, Aerielle Floros-Ecker, of Charleston, IL; her father, Peter Floros and his spouse, Joan Abelman, of Milledgeville, GA; her mother, Florence Kline of Sullivan, MO; two sisters, Angela (Floros) Berga and her husband, Mike, of House Springs, MO, and Angie Godfrey of Virginia Beach, VA; one stepbrother, Ryan McCourtney and his wife, Kristen, of Potosi, MO, nieces and nephews: Austin, Gabrielle, and Amelia Berga, Chris Jolley, Matt (Ryan) Jolley, Jess Tennant and Jamie Thompson; other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter and Vivian Floros and Raymond and Goldie Kline; and her brother, Christian Floros. 

Arrangements for cremation have taken place. A Memorial Service was held 1 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Pastor Matt Dudley officiating. 

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
