Toni L. Parker
Toni L. Parker, 69, of Bourbon, Missouri passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Cuba Manor.
Toni Lea Parker was born February 20, 1953 in Butte, Montana to Lloyd and Vera (Atkins) Dodd. She grew up and attended school in Bozeman, Montana.
While visiting family in Missouri, she met the love of her life, Marvin Parker. They were soon united in marriage on March 24, 1973 and to this union were blessed with five children: Margaret Jean, Stacy, Carla, Marvin Jr., and Denise. Sadly, Margaret was lost in infancy. Together they continued to raise their family in the Bourbon/Sullivan area while Toni was a dedicated homemaker.
Outside of staying home, Toni and Marvin enjoyed taking the kids to the zoo and camping together at Woodland Lakes and Meramec State Park. She also was an avid bingo player and enjoyed time knitting, playing crossword puzzles and especially spending quality time with her grandchildren. Toni was a member of the Sullivan Fraternal Order of Eagles for 31+ years.
Above all, Toni was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Toni is survived by her four children: Stacy Parker and significant other, Billy Binge of Cadet, MO, Carla Johns and husband Corey of Saint Louis, MO, Marvin Parker Jr. of Bourbon, MO, and Denise Vanover and husband Larry of Bourbon, MO; 10 grandchildren: Cody, William, Amber, Ashley, Brittany, Aaron, Justin, McKenzie, Ely and James; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lisa Atkins of Newton, NC; a brother, James Dodd of Butte, MT; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Margaret Jean; her parents, Lloyd and Vera; and four sisters: Teri Holland, Gayle McCaslin; Loydene “Deenie” Campbell, and Virgie Smith.
Arrangements for cremation have taken place.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be 11 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Cave Spring Cemetery in Spring Bluff, MO.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Sullivan Eagles Hall.
