Thomas P. Capps, 59, of Bourbon, Missouri, passed away in his home on June 3, 2022.

Thomas Paul Capps was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 21, 1963 to Stan and Geraldine (Kircher) Capps. He grew up and attended school in Florissant, Missouri. Later in life, Tom was blessed with a son, Tommy Lee. Sadly, Tommy Lee passed away on July 8, 2011. Tom moved to Bourbon in the early 2000’s to make it his final home. He was employed as a carpenter for Thomas Whitt Construction and worked alongside other construction companies in the surrounding areas.

Tom loved being outdoors, and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. In recent years, he spent a lot of time studying his Bible. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many.

Tom is survived by his parents, Stan and Gerry Capps of Bourbon, Missouri; a sister, Diana Capps-Jones of Bourbon, Missouri; special nieces and nephews: Crystal Adler, Brandon Davidson, and Tyler Jones; other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Lee Capps; a brother, Chris Capps; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Arrangements for cremation have taken place. Memorial Services will be 5 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan - Father Tim Henderson will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 3 – 5 p.m., Thursday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral expenses for Tom.

All arrangements are under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan.
