Theresa Harris

Theresa A. Harris, 45, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. 

Theresa Antoinette was born in St. Louis, MO, February 18, 1976, the daughter of Theresa Hausner. She grew up and attended school in St. Louis. On February 19, 1995, Theresa married Terry Harris and to this union four children were born: Brandon, Devin, Taylor and Kurstyn. Terry and Theresa raised their family in St. Louis prior to moving to Sullivan in 2006.

Theresa spent ten years as a conductor for Union-Pacific Railroad. She loved spending time with her family and doing things that she loved, such as singing, dancing, karaoke, and being at the river. Theresa will forever be loved and missed by her family.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Terry Harris, of Sullivan, MO; four children: Brandon Harris (Taylor Stewart) of Sullivan, MO, Devin Harris (Konner) of Sullivan, MO, Taylor Harris (Eric Kelley) of Union, MO, and Kurstyn Hammack (Daniel) of Bourbon, MO; her mother, Theresa Hunn (Glen) of Bourbon, MO; eleven grandchildren: Aiden, Jayden, Zayden, Kaysen, Kreyton, Nathaniel, Liliana, Mariana, Kingston, Jersey and Declan; three brothers-in-law: Jerry Harris and his wife, Cherly, Jim Harris and Robert Harris and his wife, Billie; five brothers: Terry “Little Terry” Sinks, Jeremy Sinks, Nick Hunn, Chris Hausner and Glen Hunn; two sisters: Nikki Hausner and K.C. Davis; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Hausner; her mother-in-law, Chestella Lovett; and her father-in-law, James Harris. 

Cremation arrangements have taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering was held 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Woodland Lakes Community Center/Rec Hall – Sullivan.
