Terry R. Romine

Terry R. Romine, 67, of Bourbon, Missouri passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at LifeCare Center of Sullivan.

Terry Robert Romine was born May 30, 1956 in Kirkwood to Robert and Helen (Ridgley) Romine. Terry’s early childhood was spent in Kirkwood, Missouri before relocating to Pacific where he graduated in the class of 1975. He was united in marriage to Darla Hofstetter in 1978. Together they were blessed with a son, Terry Daniel. Terry and his family remained in the Pacific area while he went to work for his parents at Country Aire Mobile Home Park. He later began driving a dump truck for various quarries, even becoming self-employed for some time.

Terry loved the outdoors and enjoyed bowhunting. He also appreciated the craftsmanship of knives and had a collection of his own. Terry even had an artistic side, he enjoyed painting and coloring pictures to then later sell. Another passion of his was cooking and BBQing.

Terry is survived by his son, Terry Daniel Romine and wife Stephanie of Villa Ridge, MO; a sister, Judy Meyer and husband Mark of Lake Crystal, MN; his mother, Helen Romine of Lake Crystal, MN; a grandson, Ryan Romine of Villa Ridge, MO; two nieces, Chelsea Ankeny and husband Jacob of Roseville, MN and Whitney Meyer of Dallas, TX; a nephew, Nolan Meyer of Austin, TX; great nieces and nephew: Mila, Jada and Garrett; two aunts, Bernice Romine of Kirkwood, MO and Karene Ridgley of Ballwin, MO; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Darla and his father, Robert.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be at 11AM, Tuesday, October 24,2023 at the Saint James Cemetery in Saint James.
