Taylor Whitley Graybill, 76, of Leasburg, MO, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Mercy Hospital – Washington.

Taylor was born on December 10, 1944 in Weatherby, MO, to Maurice and Annis (McFee) Graybill. He grew up attending county school and graduated from Winston High School, class of 1962. Taylor was united in marriage to Karen Hancock on June 2, 1967 in Cameron, MO. They were blessed with their two children, Koll and Toni. They raised their family in various parts of northern Missouri while Taylor worked as a rancher and farrier. Sadly, Taylor and Karen eventually divorced.

Taylor spent some time in western Kansas just living the cowboy life. He loved being a cowboy, and in his later years, he enjoyed teaching his grandkids about horses and being a cowboy. Taylor also loved watching rodeo’s and old westerns, welding and building. He was united in marriage to Karen Marie Elmore on March 1, 2006 in Clayton, NM. They enjoyed many years together and had recently moved to Leasburg to be near Karen’s family. They truly were together until the end, as both of them passed away on the same day, within four hours of one another. They will be lovingly remembered and missed by their family and friends.

Taylor is survived by his two children, Koll Graybill and wife, Becky, of Sublette, KS, and Toni Lynch and husband, Matthew, of Buffalo, OK; four grandchildren: K.T. Graybill and wife, Savannah, of Satanta, KS, Callie Graybill (Raul Rodriguez) of Hooker, OK, Kyle Rutledge and wife, Michelle, of Callahan, CO, and Jaxson Millirons of Buffalo, OK; six great-grandchildren: Eli, Rose, Gus, Marilyn, Joe and Adam; four sisters: Carol Peeble of North Carolina, Emma Dee Escott of Michigan,  Billie Hammond of Arizona, and Arlene Ogan of Missouri; nieces and nephews, cousins, other extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Annis Graybill; four brothers: Given (his twin brother who died at birth), Olin, Ralph and John Graybill; and one sister, Alice Green.

Cremation arrangements will be taking place. Memorial Services for Taylor and Karen are being planned for a later date, in southwest Kansas, as well as a private family service in north Missouri.

Online condolences may be shared with Taylor’s family at www.eatonfuneralhome.com.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan.
