Tamara J. Adams, 58, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Tamara Joann Adams was born July 20, 1963 in Washington, Missouri, to Bud and Joan (Goodman) Adams. She grew up and attended school in Spring Bluff and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 1981. Later in life, Tamara was blessed with four children: Cody, Jacob, Dylan and Chaney. She devoted her life to her children and was a stay-at-home mother as her children were growing up.

Tamara made her children her number one priority in life. She was always baking for them, making costumes, and being involved in their lives. For her children’s birthdays, she would bake a birthday cake for them, along with cupcakes for their whole class at school to celebrate with them each year. These are just a few of the fond memories her children will cherish. Tamara was a second mother to a lot of her children’s friends and loved them like they were her own.

Tamara always had a passion for gardening. She loved to raise flowers and produce, with her favorites changing with the seasons, but she had the ability to grow just about anything. She had several full-sized greenhouses at her homes throughout the years, where she could be found lovingly tending to every flower she grew. Tamara will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many.

Tamara is survived by her four children: Cody Gerschefske of Rosebud, Missouri, Jacob Schatz and fiancé, Jackie Hudson, of Kansas City, MO, Dylan Schatz of Spring Bluff, MO, and Chaney Rose of Kansas, City, MO; two grandchildren, Jordyn & Rosalie Gerschefske; her father, Bud Adams of Spring Bluff, MO; a sister, Shelia Shelton and husband Edward of Stanton, MO; and other extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Adams.

Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Graveside Services was held 11 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2021 in New Cave Spring Cemetery in Spring Bluff, MO.
