Stanley L. Shoemaker

Stanley L. Shoemaker, 69, of Leasburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. 

Stanley lived a simple life with Melody in the country. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, karaoke, hunting, camping and fishing with his best friend, Terry Hinson. 

Stan’s desire was to be cremated and have his ashes taken to Lake Norfork in Arkansas where he loved to vacation with his family. 

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Melody Shoemaker of Leasburg, Missouri; his children: Kara Brockhorst and husband William, Brian Shoemaker and wife Shannon, Jason Hinson and his wife Jennifer, Jimmy Hinson and wife Grace, Shylee Reed and husband Daniel; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way; his siblings: Richard Shoemaker and his wife Donna and Trish Shoemaker-Sowash; 

Stanley was preceded in death by a grandson Elijah Shoemaker; his siblings: Russell, Ben, Doris and Lonnie; as well as many friends and loved ones along the way. 

A Celebration of Life will be announced on Facebook once organized.
