Shirley Mullen Black

Shirley Mullen Black (nee' Perschbacher), 95, of Union, MO passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at her home. Shirley was born August 21, 1927 in St. Louis, MO to Howard and Barbara (nee' Benskin) Perschbacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernice Black; her sisters, Gerry Britton and Lorraine Bryan; and brothers, Don, Roland, and Stanley Perschbacher.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Gerald) Stevens, Pat (Truman) Timmons, Judy (Patrick) Doyen, and Cathy Mullen; step-son, Jarrett (Suzanne) Black; nine grandchildren: Kelly, Steve, Andrea, John, Matt, Ian, Audrey, Paul and Brian; five great-grandchildren: Adam, Sydnie, Cheyanne, Bailey, and Lane; along with other relatives and friends.

There will be no public services.

The Black family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO.
