Sharon Douglas

Sharon Hope Douglas passed away Friday November 5, 2021, at the age of 73. She was born on April 29, 1948, in St. Louis, MO to Vallie Robert Douglas and Gertrude Catherine (Price) Douglas.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Vallie and Gertrude Douglas, three sisters, Alice Laverne Beckemeyer, Beatrice Elizabeth Cary and Valle Roberta Dace. One brother, Robert James Douglas. And one daughter, Lori Katherine Blacklock.

Sharon is survived by three sisters, Ruth Amelia Steele and husband Phil of O’Fallon, MO, June Lee Dimicelli of Cuba, MO and Sandra Faith Ness and husband Dewey of St. James, MO. Two brothers, John Mark Douglas of Elfrida, AZ and David Paul Douglas and wife Glenda of St. James, MO. One son, Matthew Douglas Sanders and wife Cindy of Rolla, MO. One daughter, Jeri Lee Faber and husband Matthew of St. James, MO. One son in law John Blacklock. Fourteen Grandchildren, Tyler, Taryn, Colby, Caily, Mason, John, Justen, Gregg, David, Kurtis, Trent, Madison, Arianna and Baiden. Their spouses and significant others. Four Great grandchildren, Roman, Bennett, Brooks, and Kennedy. And many many  nieces, nephews, and friends.

Sharon was a secretarial rock star having worked in the fields of engineering, education and medical. She was adamant that no funeral or service be performed but a potluck dinner she would never pass up. Please join us on November 21, 2021, at 1:30 in the afternoon at Matt’s Steakhouse in Rolla, MO. Please bring a side dish or dessert. Mom always loved her vegetables. Meat and potatoes will be provided. We are looking forward to celebrating our mother with fellowship and food and of course lots of hugs. Love to all!
