Shannon M. Roach

Shannon M. Roach, 50, of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Fenton.

Shannon Michael Roach was born January 24, 1971 in Sullivan, MO to Larry and Wanda (Bartle) Roach. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan, and graduated with the class of 1989. Following graduation, Shannon was blessed with five children: Felicia, Casey, Brandon, Emilee & Abbey. He continued to raise his family in the Sullivan area while working various jobs, primarily at Dana Corporation for 10+ years. Shannon then furthered his education at Vatterott College, where he obtained an Associate’s Degree in HVAC. He eventually went to work for O’Reilly’s and remained there for 9+ years until his passing.

Shannon loved spending time with his family, listening to 80’s rock, playing his guitar, and cooking. His chicken and dumplings were his favorite.

Shannon was a loving, funny, compassionate father who was always making sure his children knew how proud he was of them. He will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many.

Shannon is survived by his five children: Brandon Roach of Sullivan, MO, Felicia Roach and fiancé Brandon of Mountain View, MO, Casey, Emilee, & Abbey Roach, all of Sullivan, MO; his father, Larry Roach of Bourbon, MO; a brother, Travis Roach of Forest Grove, OR; a sister, Tammy Chapman and husband Kevin of Sullivan; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda; maternal grandparents, George & Dorothy Bartle; paternal grandparents, William & Alice Roach; and his uncle and aunt, Gary and Kathy Bartle.

Arrangements for cremation have taken place. No services are planned at this time.
