Scott William Oberkramer

Scott William Oberkramer, 62, of Bourbon, Missouri, departed from this life on June 15, 2024, in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Born on October 25, 1961, to Robert and MaryAnn (Rhoads) Oberkramer in Eureka, Missouri, Scott's journey was one marked by boundless kindness, a spirit of generosity, and an adventurous heart.
Growing up under the wide Missouri skies, Scott cultivated a love for the outdoors early on. He attended local schools and proudly graduated from Eureka High School in 1980. His patriotic spirit led him to serve his country by entering the United States Air Force right after high school. His service was characterized by dedication and honor, earning him an honorable discharge in 1982.
Scott's commitment to love and family was evident when he married Tracy Tamborski on May 31, 1986. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Scottie, Richie, and Kacie. Together, they built a life filled with laughter and love in Eureka and later in Bourbon, where they made their home in 1998. Scott's role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and he instilled in his children the values of kindness, generosity, and the joy of adventure.
Professionally, Scott found his calling with General Electric, where he spent most of his career. His work as a machinist was not just a job; it was a passion that allowed him to travel the world, experience different cultures, and meet people from all walks of life. He retired in 2022, having made a significant impact on his colleagues and the industry through his expertise and work ethic.
Scott remarried in 2022 when he married Pamala Pillay and although their time together was brief, it was filled with the joy and romance of a lifetime. Their love was a testament to Scott's belief in the power of love at any stage of life.
An avid outdoorsman, Scott reveled in the simple pleasures of hunting and fishing. His love for guns was not just a hobby but a passion that he approached with respect and skill. Riding motorcycles gave him a sense of freedom and exhilaration, and he could often be found exploring the open road, the wind in his hair and a smile on his face.
Scott's laughter was contagious, and his presence brought light into any room. He enjoyed unwinding by watching his favorite television shows, a pastime that allowed him moments of relaxation in his otherwise adventurous life. His kind and generous nature made him a beloved figure in his community and among his friends and family.
