Ryley William Walter Conrad, 16, of Bourbon, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Ryley was born December 6, 2004 in Sullivan, MO, to Christopher S. Conrad and Samantha L. Timlin. Known as “Smiley Ryley”, he had such a big heart, had a funny sense of humor, but was soft spoken and kind. Ryley loved being with his family. He was a daddy’s boy and a best friend to his dad. He also idolized his brother, Dalton.

Ryley was an avid fan of the Golden State Warriors #30, Steph Curry. He also enjoyed playing basketball, hunting and fishing, playing video games and being in the water, especially swimming in Wisconsin Dells and Florida. Ryley would collect trinkets from all of their family trips. He also loved holidays, especially Christmas and the Fourth of July. He will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Ryley is survived by his mother, Samantha Starr and husband, Jed, of Bourbon, MO; his father, Chris Conrad and wife, Julie, of Sullivan, MO; six siblings: Dalton Conrad, Nick Lofgren, Trent and Maddy Starr, Domenic Mendoza and wife, Michelle, and Mia Kovatovich and husband, Adam; his grandparents: Sharon Conrad of Sullivan, MO, Wanda Timlin of Sullivan, MO, John Picchi and wife, Diane, of Fishers, IN, Donna Starr of Bourbon, MO, and Sharon Shephard of Leasburg, MO; his aunts & uncles: Steve Conrad and wife, Michelle, of Sullivan, MO, Gary Conrad and wife, Lisa, of CT, Joe Conrad of Sullivan, MO, Tim Conrad of Sullivan, MO, Cathy Danley of CT, Tony Timlin and wife, Susan, of Sullivan, MO, Patti Pounds and husband, Robbie, of Sullivan, MO, and Tina Sohn and husband, Jack, of Sullivan, MO, and numerous other step aunts & uncles; his dog, Bo Conrad; and numerous other extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Betty Landing; three of his grandfathers: Walter Conrad, Patrick Timlin and James Starr; two aunts: Tammy Ward and Diane Strothkamp; and two uncles: Brian Conrad and Bill Timlin.

Visitation was held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

A Private Memorial Service, for family only, began at 7 p.m., Monday, at Eaton Funeral Home.
