Ronald Arthur Bouse

Ronald Arthur Bouse, known affectionately as Ron, passed away at the age of 67 on April 15, 2024, at Delmar Gardens West in Chesterfield, MO. Ron was born to proud parents Gordon and Helen Catherine (Schmidt) Bouse on February 16, 1957, in Sullivan, Missouri. He was a beloved father, friend, and community member known for his kind and generous spirit.
As a lifelong resident of Sullivan, Ron graduated with the class of 1975 before embarking on his journey as a skilled tradesman. In 1982, he married Sharon Bylo, and together they welcomed three children into the world: Phillip, Brandy, and Luke. Though Ron and Sharon eventually parted ways, their friendship endured, with Sharon providing unwavering support and care throughout his final days.
Ron was a self-made man who proudly owned and operated Bouse Construction, specializing in residential roofing from 1984 until his health began to wane. His work ethic and dedication to quality became hallmarks of his business and were recognized by all who knew him.
Beyond his professional life, Ron embraced the beauty of nature on his farm and constantly sought adventure in the great outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, or trapping. With an avid interest in stamp collecting and a passion for reading, Ron was not only well-read but also a great conversationalist who could captivate with stories and discussions on various topics.
Ron's kind-hearted demeanor extended to his family, friends, and anyone he met. He will be remembered for his warmth, his laugh, and his ability to brighten the day of those around him. Ron’s legacy of kindness and his love for the simple joys of life will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Ron is survived by his children, Phillip Bouse of Sullivan, MO, Brandy McMullen and husband Jordan of Wildwood, MO, and Luke Bouse of St. Louis, MO; ex-wife and caregiver Sharon Bouse; granddaughter, Ella McMullen; one brother, Vernon Bouse of Sullivan, MO; other relatives and many friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Helen Bouse; and one brother Gordan in infancy.
