Robert “Ben” Pappas

Robert “Ben” Pappas, 61, of Robertsville, MO passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.

Robert Benjamin was born on July 20,1961 in St. Louis, MO to the late Robert Bernard and Ima Jean (Kellet) Pappas.  Ben was a devoted employee of True Manufacturing for forty- two years, retiring in 2021. He was blessed with two daughters, Nikki and Krystal. On November 7,1997 Ben was united in marriage to Cecilia L. Floyd and inherited three more children, Shannon, Cody and Candace.

Ben was known for his sense of humor and big laugh. He was a history buff and enjoyed woodworking, tinkering in his garage and the great outdoors where he hunted and fished. He also liked horseback riding and collecting on old farm tools & equipment. Ben was a truthful soul, good natured and resourceful. He will be missed by his family, many friends and his beloved dog, Miska.

Ben is survived by his wife, Cecilia of Robertsville, MO; five children, Nikki Pappas of St. Louis, MO, Krystal Dehner and husband Will of Herculaneum, MO, Shannon Robertson of St. Louis, MO, Cody Robertson of Bourbon, MO, Candace Robertson of St. Louis, MO; his mother, Ima Jean Farnham and husband Neil of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren; one sister, Laura Pappas of St. Louis, MO; three nieces, Lisa Vitale and husband Pete, Natalie Amann and husband Scott, Rachel Mercer and husband Ryan all of St. Louis, MO; numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Pappas, and a nephew, Steven Krost.

Cremation arrangements have taken place with a Memorial to be held at a later date.
