Richard “Dick” Weber, 87, formerly of St. Louis, MO, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, MO. 

Richard Lee Weber was born September 18, 1934 in Gerald, MO to Floyd and Agnes (Fickie) Weber.  He grew up and attended school in both Gerald and Union.  After graduating high school, Dick joined the US Army where he served our country until his honorable discharge in 1959.  He was united in marriage to Patsy Norris and to this union there were four children:  Stephen, Richard, Rita, and Kirk.  After his time in the service, they returned to St. Louis to raise their family, but later divorced.  For many years, Dick was employed with Anheuser-Busch, then eventually went to work for the trade union as a laborer until his retirement.   

During his lifetime, Dick had an extreme love for music.  He loved to sing and play the drums.  He could often be found spending time at his favorite hang-outs, both listening to music and visiting with friends. 

Dick is survived by his children:  Stephen Weber of Florida state, Rick L. Weber, Rita Weber, and Kirk Weber, all of Florissant, MO; a sister, Barbara Essmann and her husband, William, of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his life partner, Anna Maxwell. 

Graveside services were held 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the Schmidt Cemetery, Sullivan, MO.

Memorial contributions in Dick’s memory may be made to Schmidt Cemetery.
