Reva Hecht

Reva M. Hecht, 93, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully, at her home, on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Reva Mary (Lantz) was born January 25, 1928 in Bourbon, MO, to Ward Henry and Pearl (Bryan) Lantz. She grew up and attended Sullivan schools, and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 1946. Reva spent most of her working career with the Ramsay/Seal Power Corporation, mainly as a ring inspector. She retired in 1993, at age 65.

Reva was a member of Sullivan Christian Church. She enjoyed some traveling through the years, but always enjoyed spending time with her family and going for walks. She will be lovingly remembered and by her family and friends.

Reva is survived by her two sons: Gary Hecht and wife, Diane, of Leslie, MO, and Larry Hecht and significant other, Lorri, of Sullivan, MO; one sister, Helen McCarthy, of California; seven grandchildren: Gus Hecht and significant other, Kaylee, of Sullivan, MO, Izzi Koenig and husband, Austin, of Robertsville, MO, Sam Hecht, JD Hecht, Adam Hecht and wife, Sarah, all of Sullivan, MO, Karisa Sneddy and husband, Jason, of Gerald, MO, and Ashley Teboe and husband, Joab, of Sullivan, MO; five great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Bentley, Parker, Easton and Emery; as well as nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ward and Pearl Lantz; two brothers: Harold and Glen Lantz; and three sisters: Alice Bell, Edith Guthrie and Elsie Hardy.

Memorial Services were 6 p.m., Monday, June 14, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Mr. Sam Waymon officiating. Inurnment followed in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.

Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
