Regina Adams
Regina “Gina” M. Adams, 61, of Sullivan, MO, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Gina was born October 30, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, to Timothy Lester Metcalf and Mae Berniece Harris. She graduated from Steelville High School, class of 1978. Gina was blessed with two children, her daughter, Mandy, and her son, Justin. Gina was united in marriage to Leslie Coleman Adams, Sr. on May 8, 1985. They blended their families and made many memories with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren through the years.
Gina was employed as the Human Resources Director for Sullivan Empac Group. She made many close friends over the 22 years she worked there. Her hobbies included treasure hunting, shopping, playing cards and traveling with family and friends. Gina had been faithfully attending Grace City Church of Bourbon. She will be truly missed and lovingly remembered by many.
Gina is survived by her husband, Les Adams, Sr., of Sullivan, MO; two children: Amanda Keogh and husband, Matt, of Sullivan, MO, and Justin Wigger and wife, Kelsey, of Cuba, MO; one stepson, Bill Adams and wife, Meredith, of Sullivan, MO; eighteen grandchildren: Jacob Keogh of St. Louis, MO, Daniel, Carter and Chloe Keogh, all of Sullivan, MO, Katlyn Wigger of Sullivan, MO, Madisyn Wigger of Cuba, MO, Ryan Wigger of Salem, MO, Tyler Adams and wife, Destinee, of Stanton, MO, Kenna Hedrick of St. Peters, MO, Cohen Adams of St. Peters, MO, Jaden, Mya, Leah, and Cohen Schmidt, all of Cuba, MO, Abbey Adams of California, Ethan Light of Springfield, MO, and Aiden and Averi Adams of Sullivan, MO; two great grandchildren: Baylon White and T.J. Adams; two brothers: Scott Starks and significant other, Wanda, of Steelville, MO, and David Metcalf and significant other, Betty, of Bourbon, MO; brother-in-law, Mark Hughes, of Leasburg, MO; two sisters-in-law: Joyce Montgomery and husband, Terry, and Edna Bradley and husband, Tom; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Metcalf and Mae Farrar; one brother, Roger Farrar; one sister, Linda Hughes; and stepson, Les Adams, Jr.
Funeral services were 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Pastor Terry Mahurin officiating. Interment followed in Steelville Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
