Paula Ann Myler

Paula Ann Myler (August 13th, 1950 - April 29th, 2024) was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She met the love of her life - Robert “Bob” Joseph Myler - on a blind date at the tender age of sixteen. Five years later, she graduated from The West Penn School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

On May 20th 1972, Paula and Bob married and began their long life together - filling their home with a menagerie of plants and animals: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, you name it! Having children wasn’t easy for them, so they opened their home to foster children. Even after the birth of their own three children, Paula always found time to help any little one in need.

Paula’s greatest joy was when she became ‘Gamma’ to her own 11 grandchildren - and seemingly to every child she met. She was an active, long time member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Paula was blessed with a big heart that was immediately evident in the many church callings that she held. Most precious to her was the sure knowledge of being sealed to her husband and children for both time and eternity in the Washington DC Temple.

Paula is survived by her husband: Robert Myler, her daughter: Emily (Rob) Wood, son: BJ (Amanda) Myler, and daughter: Grace (David) Hiscox - together with her much-loved eleven grandchildren: Josh, Jack, Sam, Ray, Frank, Hannah, Katie, Lindsay, Caleb, Jane, and Lucy.

Services are planned for a later date.
