Norma Jean Wagner, 91, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Norma was born in Overland, MO on March 8, 1931 to Marvin and Adeline (Schimitz) Collins. They later moved into St. Louis, MO where Norma attended Beaumont High School and Hadley Vocational School. Norma married Walter Koehler in 1950 and they had two sons, Walter Jr. and John, and one daughter, Faith Ann. Sadly, they divorced in 1969.

In 1970, Norma reconnected with a childhood friend, Gene Wagner, and they married in 1971. Together they raised a wonderful daughter, Faith Ann, and had over 50 years together. They operated several businesses together until retiring. They made many trips to various locations in their fifth wheel camper, along with their faithful cat, “Red”. Norma loved to do various crafts, sewing, crocheting, drawing, and painting. She was also a talented singer and loved to sing in her church.

Norma is survived by her husband, Gene Wagner, of Sullivan, MO; her daughter, Faith Williams and husband Earl of Carrabelle, FL; twin grandsons, Brandon Williams of Washington, D.C. and Bradley Williams of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, April Yokley and husband William of Hillsboro, MO; granddaughters, Kate Zimmerle of Fredericksburg, VA and Amy Koehler of St. Louis, MO; and grandson, Devin Koehler of St. Louis, MO; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Ryan Yokley; special cousin, Glennon; numerous nieces and nephews, good friends, and her loving church family at Green Mound Church in St. Clair, MO.

She was preceded in death by her son, John William Koehler; her parents, Marvin and Adeline Collins; an infant sister, Lanore Collins, and sisters, Lorraine Meyer and Shirley Daniels.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan - officiated by Pastor Lindell Vawter. Interment  followed in Bourbon Cemetery.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., on Saturday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
