Nathan A. Gilhaus, 35, went to his Heavenly Home March 25, 2021. He was born August 21, 1985 in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

He was welcomed in Heaven by his grandfather, best friend, Leslie A. Gilhaus, and grandmother, Betty Gilhaus. Nathan had a smile that could light up the room. He was a friendly, genuine soul, that made friends everywhere he went. He loved wrestling, MMA, and almost any sport you can think of, as he played all of them, in addition to cooking. Fantasy Football was by far one of his favorite hobbies. His time at American Top Team was a special one to him. The owner said Nate embraced everyone as a friend. To this day, he has never seen anyone progress and truly win the respect of everyone he encountered in the gym, and that’s why they loved him. Nathan attended and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 2003. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.

Nate is survived by his mother and step-father, Lecia and Mike McLaughlin; stepfather, Mark Vandale; one brother, Nicholas Vandale; stepbrother, Sam McLaughlin; stepsister, Brett (Josh) Winscott; aunt, Tanya (Jerry) Potter; uncle, Marc (Jennifer) McLaughlin; nephews, Ivan Vandale and Timothy Potter; and many extended family members and friends.

A graveside service was held 1 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021 in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Sullivan, with Pastor Dave Wright officiating.

Friends may send online condolences to Nathan’s family at www.eatonfuneralhome.com.

All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan.
