Michelle Roehrs
Michelle R. Roehrs, 56, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
Michelle Renee was born June 15, 1964 in St. Charles, MO, to Donald Eugene and Carolyn Sue (Clemmens) DeBrecht. She grew up and attended school in Sullivan. Michelle was united in marriage to Earl Roehrs and they were blessed with two children, Jennifer and Kyle, whom they raised in Sullivan. Michelle and Earl eventually divorced.
Michelle loved being a homemaker and was a true caregiver, which led her to do some in-home daycare. She also worked as a Secretary for Victory Church for many years. Michelle loved the Lord, the St. Louis Cardinals and cats. But above all, she loved her grandchildren; they were her world.
Michelle is survived by her two children: Jennifer Roehrs of Leasburg, MO, and Kyle Roehrs and wife, Kelcey, of Sullivan, MO; her mother, Carolyn DeBrecht of Sullivan, MO; six grandchildren: Trevor and Riley Brand, Niko and Kyrie Makic, and Quinn and Kamden Roehrs; two brothers: Kevin DeBrecht and wife, Lynn, of Kimberling City, MO, and Chris DeBrecht and wife, Jackie, of Sullivan, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald E. DeBrecht.
A Memorial Service was held 1p.m., Monday, May 17, 2021 at New Testament Baptist Church in Sullivan, with Pastors Josh and David Wright officiating.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, prior to the service at New Testament Baptist Church.
