Katherine Faye Williams, known affectionately as Kitty, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2023, in Sullivan, Missouri. Born on August 10, 1950, in Houston, Texas, to Richard Dean and Anna Lee (David) Smith, Kitty's life was marked by a deep love for her family.

Kitty's journey took her to many places, including Texas, Hawaii, and Missouri. However, her heart always remained in Louisiana, where she felt a deep connection to her roots. She spoke often of her aunts, uncles and many cousins.

While living in Hawaii, Kitty met and married Richard Williams, and together they welcomed their son, Richard Dean. They made their home at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, where Kitty worked primarily in retail, most notably for Walmart.  After her divorce, Kitty returned to Louisiana to be closer to her family, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to those she loved.

Kitty became a Christian while living in Richland, Missouri, and her faith was a source of strength and comfort to her in her last days.

Three years prior to her passing, Kitty returned to Missouri. Following a fall, her health began to decline, and she became a resident at the Life Care Center in Sullivan. Despite the challenges she faced, Kitty remained resilient, facing each day with courage and grace. She remained at the Life Care Center until her passing, where she was cared for with compassion and respect.

Kitty is survived by her son Richard Dean Williams and wife Kayla of Louisiana; beloved grandson, Alister Hugh Williams; one brother, Alan Smith of Huffman, Texas; mother and father in law, Alfred and Betty Williams of Sullivan;  brother in law, Clifford Williams and wife Cindra of Sullivan; nieces and nephews, Robin Smith and wife Katie, Noelani Smith and husband Casey Richardson; Melissa Hampton and husband Ben, Lindsey Jasper and husband Ben; great-nieces and nephews, Claire Smith, Thea and Rhett Hampton, Nolan and Landon Jasper; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
