ordan T. Houseman, age 35, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away on November 30, 2022.

Jordan Thomas Houseman was born on January 11, 1987 to Jennifer Kline and Thomas Houseman.  Jordan grew up in Sullivan and after attending Sullivan High School, he went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Education and taught history at Sullivan Middle School. He enjoyed the kids he taught and in his free time, he coached cross country and wrestling.  Jordan had a passion for sports and before the age of ten, could answer any sports trivia question posed.  Jordan’s first Cardinals baseball game was the night Mark McGuire signed with the team.  McGuire caught a foul ball and handed it to Jordan, the cutest kid on the first base line.  This thrilled Jordan and placed unreasonable expectations for anyone else that took him to a sporting event, but then at his first St. Louis Blues hockey game, his Uncle Tom Adams caught a puck and gave it to him, continuing the unreasonable expectations.  Jordan also loved his gaming systems and enjoyed playing them with his kids. His love of 80’s hair bands and superb ability to play air guitar was passed down from his mother and shared with his daughter, Halle.  Like all good Stater Creek/Pea-Ridgers, Jordan was a master of impersonation, elevating his comedy to a higher level than most.  The best memories of Jordan probably shouldn’t be shared in a public forum (the caper involving his mother, Rachelle, Randi and the IRS agent and Grandma Kline).

Jordan met Holly Thacker while attending Sullivan schools.  Together they shared three wonderful daughters, Halle, Mackenzie, and Annalee of Sullivan. Jordan was super-proud of his kids. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Tom Houseman (Elizabeth) of Farmington, Missouri; a sister, Randi Schuchmann Kline of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Robert and Nick Houseman, both from San Antonio, Texas, and Christian Houseman of Rockton, Illinois.  Jordan will be very much missed by his grandfather and grandmother, Raymond and Marion Kline, who considered him as their son; his uncle, Tom Adams; his aunt, Lorri Kline of Columbia, Missouri, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandma Goldie Kline, aunt, Valerie Adams, great grandma Lilian Brown and his mother, Jennifer Kline.

Memorial Services for Jordan will be 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Richard Adams officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm, Thursday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
