John W. Crnkovich, 47, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Meramec Nursing Center of Sullivan. 

John Wayne Crnkovich was born in Sullivan, MO, March 16, 1974, the son of John Crnkovich. He attended and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 1993.  John honorably served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, from October 14, 1993 to October 13, 1997. He also attended Linn Technical School, from which he graduated in 1999. John was employed as a general foreman for IBEW Local 1 – Electricians Union for over twenty years. 

John was united in marriage to Tasha Luecke on May 7, 2011, and they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Mia. John enjoyed being a father and spent as much time as possible with Mia. He was also an accomplished woodworker, who built furniture and anything else he put his mind to. For several years, John enjoyed playing in a darts league. He was known as a “great conversationist.” John will be missed by his family and many friends. 

John is survived by his wife, Tasha Crnkovich of Sullivan, MO; his daughter, Mia Crnkovich of Sullivan, MO; his father, John Crnkovich of Sullivan, MO; half- sister, Tanya Lee of St. Helen, OR; best friend, Jimmy Woodcock of Stanton, MO; and other relatives and many friends. 

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, and will conclude with Full Military Honors.
