Jerry L. Rohrer

Jerry L. Rohrer, 53, of Saint Clair, Missouri passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 surrounded by his friends and family at Missouri Baptist Hospital – Saint Louis.

Jerry Lee Rohrer was born April 28, 1969 to Glenda Ruble-Denson in Sullivan, MO. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan. Following his graduation, he went directly to work in the construction industry as a roofer. During his career he was able to work around the country for 15 + years building roofs and sometimes restoring and repairing them after natural disasters especially in Florida, Louisiana and South Carolina. He later retired in 2016.

Early in Jerry’s life he was blessed with three children: Jess, Matthew and Allysa. Jerry loved spending time in the outdoors. He treasured time hunting and fishing. His most favorite fishing spots where the Roaring River in Aurora and the Meramec River. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends during fish fries.

Jerry will forever be remembered as a man that never knew a stranger and always had a way of bringing a smile to your face and a laugh to your soul. He will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his three children: Jess Pence of Washington, MO, Matthew Rohrer of Battlefield, MO, and Allysa Rohrer of Ozark, MO; four grandchildren: Amaria, Navoni, Lei’elli McKinnie and Camden Pence; brothers: Steve Hathman and his wife Jo Ann of Sullivan, MO, Jeff Rohrer and his wife Sandy of Sullivan, MO, and Ken Hathman and his wife Beth of Saint Clair, MO; a sister, Stacey James and her husband Larry of Sullivan, MO; a step-father, Don Denson of AR; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Denson and his Grandma Ruble.

Visitation will be 10 – 12 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Funeral Service will be 12 PM, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Chester Lahmann officiating.
