Jane Anita Dunn

Jane Anita Dunn, 67, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Jane was born a twin on June 11, 1954 in Ironwood, MI, to John A. and Patricia C. (Collins) Kovalski. She attended and graduated from Sullivan High School, class of 1972. Jane was united in marriage to David Dunn on July 4, 1979 and three beloved children were born: Kati, Cortney and David Jr. Jane was employed by Aerofil for 35 years and retired in 2018.
Jane loved her children whole heartedly and they always came first. She would do without herself to provide for them. Then came her grandchildren. She loved doing all kinds of crafty stuff with them. Grandma’s house was always so much fun. She let the girls sew all kinds of projects, including little quilts for their dolls and little bags to hold their stuff. The grandkids loved helping Jane make cookies and bread. Boy, could she make delicious bread and homemade pizza. She was a great cook!
Later in life, after the kids were grown, she and Dave got into horses. They loved trail riding and going camping. If it was going to be a pretty weekend, they loaded up the horses into the trailer and they were gone. Jane really enjoyed traveling and had visited many of our national parks. She and Dave also took their family on trips to the Smokey Mountains and home to Ironwood, Michigan to visit with family.
Jane loved to quilt. Everyone in the family received a quilt from her, including her children, grandchildren, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Jane is survived by three children: David Dunn and wife Jessica of Leslie, MO, Kati Dunn of Sullivan, MO and Cortney Harvey and husband Corey of Union, MO; seven grandchildren: Reece Gumpenberger, Kennedy Medling, Silas Dunn, Cameron Jane Harvey, Allison, David and Theodore Dunn, all of Leslie, MO; two sisters, Julie McGuire, and her twin, Joan Morris and husband Jim, all of Sullivan, MO; one brother, Paul Kovalski and wife Yolanda of Riverside, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Dunn; her parents, John and Patricia Kovalski; and one brother, Michael Kovalski.
