Jamie M. Goodfellow, 43, of Leasburg, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

Jamie Marie Goodfellow was born February 16, 1978 in Monroe, WI, to James Riley and Jeanne Kohler. She grew up and attended and graduated from Summersville Senior High School, class of 1996. While Jamie was still in high school, she married her first husband, and together, they were blessed with two sons, Bret and Bailey. She and her husband were later divorced. Jamie then pursued further education from SBU, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

After graduating from college, Jamie then met the love of her life, Tony Goodfellow. They were united in marriage on September 18, 2009. Together, they had one son, Conner. They eventually moved their family to the Bourbon area, where Jamie gained employment as a drug abuse counselor. Shortly after, Jamie was in a car accident that kept her from being able to return to work. Jamie did not let her injury slow her down. Instead, she put all her focus into being a homemaker. She loved to cook and nurture her family. She loved to garden and grow flowers and was known for her tremendous green thumb. Jamie was always involved in her sons lives, whether she was coaching their baseball or soccer teams, or being a cub scout leader, she was always there to support her boys’ adventurous activities.

During her stepfather’s battle with ALS, Jamie was his caretaker and a rock for her entire family. Jamie loved with everything she had and made sure that others were taken care of. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many.
