James Thomas Campbell, 57, of Sullivan, MO, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital – Sullivan.

James was born on December 7, 1964 in Potosi, MO to Thomas Lilburn and Mildred Marie (Breakfield) Campbell. He was the fourth of eleven children. James attended and graduated from Belle High School, class of 1983. He was an exceptional student and had a very analytical mind. James had the ability to look and listen to a piece of machinery and know what was wrong with it. He could fix just about anything. James was employed by Schatz Underground for 36 years. For most of that time, he was the shop manager, which was a position he was well suited for.

James was united in marriage to Karen Ann Cuneio on May 17, 1986 and they were blessed with their beautiful twin daughters, Paige and Amanda. James was a wonderful husband and father and was so proud of his girls. Sadly, Karen preceded James in death.

James married Deanna Weaver on July 11, 2015 and she was a true blessing to him and the girls. James and Deanna very much enjoyed just spending time with one another and traveling with their family. James also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially golfing. He was known for his willingness to help his friends. He had a dry sense of humor and sharp wit. James was a longtime member of First Assembly of God, where he served in many areas, usually behind the scenes.  James will be forever missed by his family, church family, work family and many friends.

James is survived by his wife, Deanna Campbell, of Sullivan, MO; two daughters, Paige Andreasen and husband Devon of Bourbon, MO and Amanda Parrish and husband Josh of Lampe, MO; his mother, Mildred Campbell, of Bourbon, MO; ten siblings, Julie Gargus and husband Danny of Leasburg, MO, Barb Bridgeman and husband Bill of Sullivan, MO, Marie Whittaker and husband Larry of Union, MO, Tim Campbell and wife Rhonda of Leslie, MO, Charlotte Gargus and husband David of Bourbon, MO, Andy Campbell and wife Marsha of Cuba, MO, Becky Davis and husband Michael of Cuba, MO, Dale Campbell of St. Clair, MO, Greg Campbell and wife Janey of Bourbon, MO and Josh Campbell and wife Megan of Sullivan, MO; mother and father-in-law, Judy and Richard Graham of Sullivan, MO and Bill and Jeannette Weaver of St. Clair, MO; one brother-in-law, Michael Weaver of St. Clair, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, other extended relatives and friends.
