James E. Littlefield, 74, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away on May 11, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

 

James Edward Littlefield, was born on December 7, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Leslie and Laura (Boshers) Littlefield. Jimmy spent his early years attending grade school in the Saint Louis area and growing up in Soulard.

 

On May 3, 1978, Jimmy married Carolyn Stroder, and together they blended their families and were blessed with three daughters, Kshe, Kasi and Tracy. The family eventually relocated to Sullivan, Missouri, where Jimmy made his final home and went on to work for Meramec Shoe for over 20 years.

 

Throughout his life, Jimmy was a simple, down-to-earth man who cherished time spent with his family. He enjoyed hosting family reunions and barbecues, ensuring that his siblings remained close even as they grew older. He also made it a point to never miss a good Western or UFC match! Jimmy treasured being a father and, later, a grandfather and great-grandfather, taking great pride in his role as a family man.

 

Jimmy is survived by his three daughters, Kshe Littlefield of Sullivan, MO, Kasi Littlefield of Sullivan, Missouri, and Tracy Harris of Murray, KY; nine grandchildren, Kobe Walker, Owen Mack, Kshe Mack, Jaiden Walker, Myles Mack, Kyleigh Walker, Rocky Lachance, and Trent Lachance and Destiney Redden; and six great-grandchildren, Andries, Matteo, Bentley, Kylah, Aubrey, Oakley, and one on the way, Indy; the wonderful mother of his girls, Carolyn Holland; He is also survived by his brother, Ricky Littlefield Sr., of Festus, MO.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Laura, and ten siblings: Leslie, Donnie, Mickey, George, Myra, Martha, Billie Jean, Adele, Betty, and Joyce.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 -7 PM, Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
