Howard F. Telthorst, Jr.

Howard F. Telthorst, Jr., 70 of Sullivan, MO passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO with his wife and son by his side.

Howard Fred, Jr. was born on September 2, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Howard F. and Ruth L. (Luhman) Telthorst. He attended and graduated from Affton High school class of 1970. He attended South County Technical to further his education and later in life served on the board there. On June 23, 1979 Howard was united in marriage to Karen “Gay” Reavis and they were blessed with a son, Michael.

Howard was employed in the printing business for most of his life. He began his printing career at the Washington Missourian and later worked for Tri-County News. Howard was employed by Graphic Connections later in life. In his free time, Howard enjoyed playing golf and riding his trike.

Howard is survived by his wife, Gay (Reavis) Telthorst; his son, Michael Telthorst both of Sullivan, MO; his mother, Ruth (Luhman) Telthorst of Sullivan, MO; three siblings, Scott Telthorst of Virginia, Karen Rivet and husband Tom of Oklahoma; Diane Palmer and husband Dan of Sullivan, MO; special cousin, Margery (Telthorst) Lorusso; nieces, Amanda and Adrienne Reavis both of Sullivan, MO, Tiffany Weiskopf and husband Chris and their two children, Paul and Payton all of Sullivan, MO; a lifelong friend, Lance Spruill of FL; and many other friends including BTW and Graphic Connections in Chesterfield, MO; other relatives and many friends.

Howard was preceded in death by his father, Howard F. Telthorst, Sr.; and two brothers, Walter and Tommy Telthorst.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM, Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Visitation will be 4 – 6 PM, Friday, February 17, 2023 prior to the memorial service.
