Harvey G. Oldham, 69, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, surrounded by his loving children.

Harvey Glen Oldham was born November 28, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Marion and Emma (Kenley) Oldham. He grew up and attended school in various places in Missouri, graduating in the Sullivan high school class of 1972. Following graduation, Harvey enlisted into the United States Army, where he honorably served our country for two years.

After his service in the Army, Harvey was united in marriage to Brenda Benson on May 8, 1977 and to their union they were blessed with three children: Lance, Katie and Cullen. Together they continued to raise their family in the Sullivan area while Harvey was employed by Chrysler Corp for 31 years until his retirement in 2000.

In his free time, Harvey enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Harvey had a big heart and always gave of himself for his family through the working years of his life. He will always be remembered for his snacks and making his home open and available to everyone. He will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Harvey is survived by his three children: Lance Oldham and wife Trisha of Union, MO, Katie Carroll and husband Matthew of Bourbon, MO, and Cullen Oldham and significant other Jamie Peters of Bourbon, MO; seven grandchildren: Seth Oldham and Logan Missey of Union, MO, Catlin Vanover, Brea Carroll and Javis Carroll of Bourbon, MO, Noah Massie of Bourbon, MO, and Myah Massie of Sullivan, MO; two great–grandchildren, Preston and Owen; a brother, Gary Oldham of Bourbon; a sister, Deronda Posner and husband Myles of Suffolk, VA; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Douglas Oldham.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, February, 16, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sulivan, with Pastor Michael Brueseke officiating. Interment will follow in I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery in Sullivan.

Visitation will be held 9–11 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in Harvey’s memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
