Glennon Hunn, 77, of Bourbon, Missouri passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Glennon Leroy Hunn was born September 15, 1945 in Saint Charles, Missouri to Vernette and Vera (Groce) Hunn. He grew up and attended school in Troy, MO, graduating from Buchannan High School in 1963. Shortly after high school, Glennon furthered his education at Truman State University studying psychology before starting his family. Throughout Glen’s life he was blessed with twelve children.

Glen worked various jobs before becoming a foreman for Pepsi for 10 + years. He then decided to purchase a farm in Bourbon and to make it his final home. While working in the city, he met the love of his life, Theresa Hausner and together they were united in marriage on July 10, 2000.

He later went to work for himself hauling clay and eventually retired in the mid 2000’s. After retirement, Glen kept himself busy and occupied working for both KR Wilson and Peterson Oil driving trucks and repairing machinery. He also enjoyed raising cattle on his farm and refurbishing his 1941 Ford.

Together, Glen and Theresa enjoyed hosting BBQ’s and gatherings on the farm, traveling to Mark Twain Lake and going for Sunday drives. Glen especially loved his grandchildren and treasured time spent with them. He will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Glen is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, of Bourbon, MO; six sons: Glen Hunn Jr., and wife Patti of Bourbon, MO, Nicholas Hunn of Cuba, MO, Christopher Hausner of Bourbon, MO, John Lawson and wife Tonda of Owensville, MO Tommy Lawson and significant other Fern Griffith of Bourbon, MO, and John Malone of Union, MO;  four daughters: KC Davis and husband James of Cuba, MO, Niki Hausner of Bourbon, MO, Deborah Hunn of Bourbon, MO, and Linda Lawson and husband Mike of El Dorado Springs, MO; 25 grandchildren; a host of great & great – great grandchildren; a brother, Frances Hunn; a sister, Margaret Meyer; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Lawson; a daughter, Theresa Harris; a wife, Lorene; his parents, Vernette and Vera; six brothers: Norbert, Leonard, Richard, Marvin, Melvin and Victor; and a sister, Regina Bueneman.

Arrangements for cremation have taken place.

A family reunion has been planned in Glen’s memory on July 8-9, 2023 at his farm in Bourbon.
