Glenn L. Busse

Glenn L. Busse, 73 of Stanton, MO passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

Glenn was born on July 1, 1949 to the late Wilbert and Minnie Maxine (Doyle) Busse in Stanton, MO. He was one of six children. Glenn grew up in Stanton and attended Stanton school, Union High School and graduated from Sullivan High School on May 23, 1967. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. On March 16, 1985, Glenn was united in marriage to Maria Jean Campbell. They enjoyed thirty-eight years of marriage. Glenn was employed by Precision Rebuilders for many years. He loved to mow grass and was very particular at how it was done. He loved his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed grilling, especially steak, target shooting, and hunting. Glenn was deeply loved by his wife Maria, children and grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by his wife Maria Busse of Stanton, MO; six children, Christianna Busse of Bourbon, MO, Gregory Busse and wife Stacey of Stanton, MO, Kimberly Marlow and husband Floyd of Leasburg, MO; Leslie, Adam and Brad Busse; nine grandchildren, Zoie and Zack Cowhick, Nathan Endress, Elayna and Leanna Watring, Skyler Busse and Hunter, Summer and Dylon Marlow, ; two brothers, Dale Busse of Sullivan, MO, Lloyd Busse of Union, MO; two sisters, Darlene Henderson and husband Dennis of Stanton, MO and Wilberta “Willie” Palmer and husband Bill of Sullivan, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Minnie Busse; one brother, Gary Busse.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 6:00 pm, Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Meramec State Park Shelter House #3. Please bring covered dish to share. All are invited and welcome to attend.
