Gary J. Misemer

Gary James Misemer, of Providence Village, Texas, formerly of Sullivan MO, earned his Heavenly Reward on October 2, 2021. He passed peacefully at home, with his beloved wife, Robin, and other family members by his side. Gary is proceeded in death by his father, Dolph Edgar Misemer, his mother, Opal (Hutson) Misemer, brothers William, Robert, and Jack, and sisters Dottie, Carol, and Joyce.

Gary was born June 2, 1939 to Dolph and Opal Misemer in St. Louis MO. He spent many years of his childhood in Steelville MO and then moved to Sullivan MO as a young man. He was a barber for many years, first in Sullivan and later in Mountain Home, AR, until his retirement. Gary loved to fish and photography was a favorite hobby of his. He also loved gardening, and even in his later years, when his health declined, he loved tending to his tomato plants. Gary married his wife, Robin (Walker) on June 14, 1975. They raised three children, and later enjoyed being grandparents to 7 grandchildren. Above all, Gary loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. He loved to sit and talk about Heaven and all that awaited him there. Gary was a follower of the Endtime Message taught by Rev. William Marrion Branham.

Gary is survived by his wife, Robin (Walker) Misemer of Providence Village, TX, one daughter, Joanna (Ben) Dees of Clarksville, IN, sons Jonathan (Crystal) Misemer, of Flippin, AR, and Isaiah (Susannah) Misemer, of Providence Village, TX, one brother, Dennis (Barb) Misemer, of Bentonville, AR, grandchildren Elisabeth, Lillia, Kaitlyn, Levi, Elijah, Isabel, and Kara, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Grace City Church, 10729 N Service Rd, Bourbon, MO 65441. Friends and family are all welcome to attend.
