Floyd E. Vaughn

Floyd E. Vaughn, 75 of Sullivan was passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his home with his son by his side.

Floyd Edward was born on December 30, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, one of three sons born to the late Preston Melvin and Virginia Lee (Rogers) Vaughn.

Floyd was united in marriage to Denise O'shea on September 17, 1994 at the  Meramec River and they enjoyed 28 years of marriage before Denise passed in 2019.   Floyd was employed as a concrete finisher and he also worked at Industrial Wire Products.

Floyd was a very good artist, and was gifted at oil paintings. He was very fond of Busch Beer, and his beloved dog, Lilly who misses him very much.

Floyd is survived by his son, Floyd A. Vaughn and girlfriend Tammy of Sullivan, MO; step-daughter, Desiree Humbolt of Cedar Hill, MO; one grandson, Donny Humbolt; two great-grandchildren, Owen and Ella Humbolt; two brothers, Bradford Vaughn and his wife Norma of Sullivan, MO and Perry Vaughn of Missouri; sister-in-law, Teddy Byard; uncles Robert Rogers and Jimmy Rogers and wife Alice of Sullivan, MO; nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Christina, Patrick Barria, Alauna and Melody Vaughn;  other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by beloved wife Denise Vaughn and one brother, Ricky Vaughn.

Cremation services have taken place. There will be no services at this time.
