Dianna Wilson
Dianna S. Wilson, 69, of Sullivan, MO, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 3, 2021.
Dianna was born October 27, 1951 in Gerald, MO, to Eldo L. and Wanda L. (Branson) Farrell. She grew up and attended school in Gerald, MO, and graduated from Owensville High School, class of 1969. Dianna was united in marriage to Kenneth Wilson on June 20, 1970, and to their union two daughters were born, Janice and Erica.
After Kenny returned home from the service, they began their life together in their new home. Throughout the years, Dianna worked in the accounting end of the family businesses of Wilson Quarries, Wilson Redi-Mix and K.R. Wilson contracting. Dianna was always the life of the party. She loved gardening, spending time on the river, fishing, and reading novels. Above all, she loved being with her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by many.
Dianna is survived by her husband, Kenneth “KR” Wilson, of Sullivan, MO; two daughters: Janice Jones and husband, Terry, of Sullivan, MO, and Erica Williamson and husband, Justin, of Sullivan, MO; four grandchildren: Mackenzie and Kierstin Jones and Nash and Norah Williamson; as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldo and Wanda Farrell; and two brothers: Larry “Bud” and Gary Farrell.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Funeral Services were 11 a.m., Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, with Pastor Scott Perry officiating. Interment followed in Schmidt Cemetery. Following services, family and friends are invited to join Dianna’s family for a dinner and celebration of her life at the family farm.
Memorial contributions in Dianna’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
