Diane L. Copeland, 62, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 surrounded by her family at Washington Mercy Hospital.

Diane Lynn Copeland was born December 21, 1958 to Richard and Lois (Blankenship) Copeland in Washington, Missouri. She grew up and attended school at the Strain Japan Catholic School, then later graduated in the Owensville High School class of 1976.

Following graduation, she married her first husband, Raymond Baumbach in 1976. To this union, a son was born, Scott. Sadly, they later divorced.

Diane then met her second husband, William (Bill) Hammock. Together they were united in marriage in 1979 and blessed with a son, Jeremy. They shared 10+ years together.

Later in life she met Timothy Board in 1987 and was united in marriage in 2002, and together they were blessed with a daughter, Kristi.

Diane was so full of life and never met a stranger. She was the best homemaker and treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

She loved all things plants, the ocean, dolphins, butterflies and animals. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Diane is survived by two sons, Jeremy Copeland and wife Mandy, of Sullivan, MO, and Scott Baumbach and fiancé Taylor Kyle of Villa Ridge, MO; a daughter, Kristi Board and significant other, Erik Prough of House Springs, MO; her mother, Lois Copeland of Gerald, MO; a step-son, Tim Board of Sullivan, MO & a step-daughter Danielle Dodd of Arizona; two brothers, Randy Copeland of Sullivan, MO & Roger Copeland and significant other Donna Brown of Gerald, MO; six grandchildren: Konner & Bentley Copeland, Avianna Board, Haley & Hunter Baumbach and Dyson Dodd; special nieces and nephews: Brandy Bruning and husband Wesley, Sophie, Timothy, Caroline, Chase, Emily, Carly & Dustin; her puppy KiKi; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; her stepmother, MaryLou Copeland; a sister, Debbie Copeland; a significant other, Adam Williams and a son in law, Dan Rask.

Arrangements for cremation have taken place. No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Suicide Awareness.
