Charlotte M. Tapsell

Charlotte M. Tapsell, 53, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her home.

Charlotte Madeline Tapsell was born on April 27, 1969 to Carl “Johnny” and Linda (Halladay) Tapsell. She grew up in High Ridge, Missouri and attended school in the Northwest School District.

In her early life, Charlotte was blessed with three children, Mark, Crystal and Carley. Sadly, Mark passed away in infancy. She continued raising her girls and working in various salons as a beautician across Jefferson County for 20 + years.

Charlotte was so full of life and enjoyed spending time on the water, whether that was relaxing on the beach in Florida or simply fishing on the Meramec River. She also loved to shop, especially thrifting; she was always on the hunt for a good bargain and something sparkly.

Charlotte was spontaneous and found beauty in the small things. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be so dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Grayson and husband Chris of Sullivan, MO and Carley Scholz of Saint Louis, MO; her mother, Linda Quick and husband Larry of Sullivan, MO; two grandchildren: Brayden & Hailee Jo; a brother, Wade Crum and wife Michelle of Ellington, MO; a sister, Tracy Wisdom and husband Dearl of Cedar Hill, MO; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mark; her father, Carl “Johnny”; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Visitation will be 4 – 6 PM, Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Funeral Service will be 6 PM, Friday, January 27, 2023 with Pastor John Blackmore officiating.
