Carolyn S. LaCrosse
Carolyn S. LaCrosse, 75, of Sullivan, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Missouri Baptist Hospital – Sullivan.
Carolyn Sue LaCrosse was born on June 13, 1947 in Irondale, MO to Elmer and Bulah (Barton) Neel. Following graduation, Carolyn was united in marriage to Robert LaCrosse and together they were blessed with five children: Terrance, Holly, Paula, Robert and Matthew. They continued raising their family in the Greenridge area. Sadly, Robert passed away in 1971.
Following Roberts passing, Carolyn met Norman Scott and was reunited in marriage on August 14, 1973. Together Carolyn and Norman moved their family to Farmington, MO and were blessed with two more children, Norman and Sharon. Carolyn remained a stay at home mother and treasured time taking care of her family. Carolyn and Norman were later divorced.
She then went to work as a CNA in various skilled nursing homes and later relocated to Sullivan and continued working in the medical field collectively for 30 + years.
Carolyn was a protective mother, faithful Christian and a fervent prayer warrior. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and knitting. She will be so dearly missed and very lovingly remembered.
Carolyn is survived by her seven children: Matthew LaCrosse of Overland Park, KS, Terrance LaCrosse of Kansas City, KS, Allen Scott of Brush, CO, Robert LaCrosse of Mountain View, MO, Holly Snedden and husband Timothy Sr. of Windsor, MO, Paula LaCrosse of Overland Park, KS and Sharon Scott of KS; a host of grandchildren and great – grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Neel of KY, and Joseph Neel of Leabanon, MO; a sister, Pearl Crabtree of Bourbon, MO; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert LaCrosse; second husband, Norman Scott; a grandson, Jon Snedden; and a granddaughter, Janie LaCrosse.
Arrangements for cremation have taken place.
