Brandon L. Pilkenton, 36, of Union, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Brandon Lee Pilkenton was born on December 17, 1985 in Sullivan, MO. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan, while being raised by his grandparents, Robert and Joan Pilkenton.

Brandon completed his GED at 16 years old and remained in Sullivan. He worked various construction jobs, as well as a Screen Printer for Paramount Apparel.

Throughout his life, he was blessed with five children: Robert, Brandon, Irie, Cierra, and Ivy.

Brandon was a very talented artist, especially tattooing. He enjoyed spending time outside and being around his family and friends. He also recently took up woodworking. Brandon will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Brandon is survived by his five children: Robert, Brandon, Irie, Cierra, and Ivy; a granddaughter, Emily Daw; three sisters: Tiffanie Pilkenton of Sullivan, MO, Ashley Strube of Sullivan, MO, and Cindy Heslep of Springfield, MO; his father, Daniel Gumpenberger; his mother, Robin Heslep; two brothers, Aarron Heslep of Springfield, MO and Michael Schuler of Springfield, MO; aunts and uncles: Ty & Tory Witt of Leasburg, MO, Terry Pilkenton of Bourbon, MO, Ellisa Webb and husband Rick, Joy Crow and husband Mike of Bourbon, MO, Brooke Pilkenton of Bourbon, MO, and Ken Pilkenton and wife Barb of Wildwood, MO; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Joan Pilkenton; a brother, Luke Heslep; an uncle, Robert Pilkenton; a special cousin, Ricky Webb; and his best friend, John Whitnell.

Arrangements for cremation have taken place. A Memorial Service was held 6 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the International Association for Suicide Prevention or Spiritual Solutions.
