Bradley Lee Philbrook, 65, of Sullivan, MO passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Missouri Baptist Hospital-St. Louis. Born on June 9, 1958, in St. Louis, MO, Brad lived a life full of adventure and laughter.

Brad's early life was marked by a variety of experiences as he moved with his family to different places in Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee. These experiences shaped him into a man of resilience and adaptability. His love for engines and small motors was kindled at a young age when he began working alongside his father. Brad's passion for hands-on work led him to a career in carpentry and later, as a concrete worker. He dedicated most of his life to this profession until his retirement from K&P Precast Inc. in 2020.

Brad's personal life was as vibrant as his professional one. He married Donna Hartzell and together they brought three beautiful children into the world: Misty, Chrystal, and Bradley Jr. Although they later divorced, they remained committed to raising their children in a loving environment. They lived in various places in Lincoln, St. Charles, and St. Louis county, creating countless memories as a family.

In 1993, Brad discovered the tranquility of life outside the city and made his home in Sullivan. It was there that he met the love of his life, Sandy Linsin. Together, they embarked on a new chapter of their lives, filled with love and companionship until his death.

Brad was an adventurous soul with a love for the outdoors. As a young man, he enjoyed riding motocross, a passion that never faded. Later in life, he could often be found hanging out on his porch or in his garage, earning him the affectionate nickname "Porchman." Brad also had a deep love for camping, woodworking, and listening to KSHE radio. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his love for his dogs, who were his constant companions.

Brad is survived by his soulmate, Sandy Linsin; his three children:  Misty Thorpe and husband, Chad of Silex, MO, Chrystal Philbrook and Bradley Philbrook Jr. and wife, Amanda all of O’Fallon, MO; 9 grandchildren:  Sidney Thorpe and fiancé, Alex Callahan of St. Charles, MO, Isabelle, Madison & Meghan Thorpe all of Silex, MO, Cameron Forler, Ashtin & Mia Haub all of O’Fallon, MO, Colton Philbrook and Lane Cody both of O’Fallon, MO; a brother, Allen Philbrook of Sullivan, MO; two sisters, Janet Hadley of St. Louis and Linda Claus and husband, Jim of Bourbon, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
