Betty Ann Anderson, 83 of Pineville, MO, passed away on August 28, 2022 peacefully in her sleep.

Betty was born on April 30, 1939 to Clarence and Margaret Proctor in Harrisburg, IL. She was raised by her Aunt Alma “Tantie” and Uncle Amos.

She attended East Central College. She worked various jobs throughout her life, however her most rewarding job was raising her four children and helping to care for her numerous grandchildren.

On October 6, 1956 she wed John Sampson Anderson, going on to have four children; Julie, Debbie, John “Bomber”, and Michael “Bubba”.

Betty enjoyed spending time caring for her many flowers and plants, was her grandchildren’s number one supporter, and could hold a lively conversation with anyone.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She is survived by two sisters, Mary and Alma and a brother, Jimmy; her four children Julie Landwehr, Sullivan, MO; Debbie (Mike) Wood, Pineville, MO; John “Bomber” (Leslie) Anderson, Sullivan, MO; and Michael “Bubba” (Aretha) Anderson, Pineville, MO.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
