Becky J. Harris, 65, of Leasburg, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Saint James Living Center in Saint James, Missouri.

Becky Jo Harris was born April 8, 1956 in Evansville, Indiana, to Ivan and Wanda (Perigo) Frohbieter. She grew up and attended school in Fenton, Missouri, and later graduated from Cuba High School, class of 1974. Following graduation, she attended some college courses at East Central College and met Michael Stout. They were eventually married and were blessed with a son, Jacob. Sadly, they later divorced.

Becky met her third husband, Jerry Smith, in 1983. Together, they were blessed with three daughters: Samantha, Penny and Hannah. They shared ten years together before they divorced.

Becky was known to always find the silver lining in things. She was a tremendous caretaker for her son, Jacob, who battled cerebral palsy. She devoted her life to his wellbeing. She was also a wonderful mother to her daughters. She loved to surprise her daughters with different outings as they were growing up, such as concerts, exploring the science center and visits to the zoo. Becky especially loved embarrassing her daughters. Through the years, she often took in many of her children’s friends and raised them as her own. Becky was kind hearted, tough, accepting and loving of everyone, and very artistic.

Later in life, Becky met William Harris and they were united in marriage on October 31, 2004. They shared countless memories together throughout their 16 years of marriage. Becky also treasured spending time with her grandkids, camping and fishing. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many.

Becky is survived her husband, Bill Harris of Leasburg, MO; three daughters: Samantha Bakemeyer and husband Mike of Indianapolis, IN, Penny Davidson and significant other Bruce Copeland of Bixby, MO, and Hannah Smith and significant other Aaron McEuen of Bourbon, MO; five grandchildren: Jude, Mia, Issac, Peyton and Aria; two brothers, Mike Frohbeiter and wife Beth of Fenton, MO, and Scott Frohbeiter; two sisters, Deborah Clonts of Sullivan, MO, and Tammy Wattler and husband John of Sullivan, MO; other relatives and many friends.
