William Allen Bergner Jr., 17, of Bourbon, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Sullivan.

On March 30, 2004 Allen was born to the union of William “Bill” Bergner Sr. and Evelyn (Garms) in Rolla.

Allen was a student of Crawford County R-1 Bourbon High School.

He was employed at Walmart.

Allen enjoyed being outdoors; hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers. He had a love for animals including snakes which he had no problem handling. Allen’s favorite music could be heard on Z107.7 and he enjoyed watching “Family Guy” and “Married with Children” with his dad. Most of all, Allen loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rose Bergner and his maternal grandfather, Joe Garms. As well as great-grandparents.

Allen is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Evelyn Bergner of Bourbon; one brother, Wesley Bergner (18) of Bourbon; two sisters, Hannah Bergner (14) of Bourbon and Merissa Sterns (21) and husband Colton of Elsberry; grandparents, Monte Bergner and wife Ueleta of Bourbon, Cindy Boxx and husband Stafford of St. Clair, Mike and Teddy Deason, Kathy Matejcek and husband Larry of Springfield; niece and nephew, Nevaeh and Jaxsin Sterns of Elsberry; other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Midlawn Funeral Home, Union. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the Bergner Family.
