Albert Terry Barton, Jr.

Albert Terry Barton, Jr., known to all as TJ, of Leasburg, MO departed this life on June 7, 2021, having reached the age of twenty years, nine months and nineteen days. TJ was born in Sullivan, MO on September 11, 2000, son of Albert Terry Barton, Sr. and Emma L. Tarrants. He was blessed to have one son.

TJ is survived by his son, Journey Morrison Dyer of Sullivan, MO; by his father, Albert Barton, Sr., known to all as Terry, and special friend, Linda Soules, of Leasburg, MO; by his mother, Emma Tarrants of Crystal City, MO; by his grandmother, Velma Boyer of Sullivan, MO; by his brothers, Andy Barton of Bourbon, MO, Steven Maune of Sullivan and Cody Maune and fiancé, Kaylin Muraski, of Sullivan; by his sisters, Mandie Hawkins and husband, Joe, of Rolla, MO, Billie Jean Garner and husband, Jeremy, of Sullivan, Frances Coyne and husband, Adam, of Waynesville, MO, Crystal Mueller and boyfriend, Mike Aitkenhead, of Bourbon and Margaret Garner of Sullivan; by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

TJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert James Barton and Gladys Virginia Barton.

During his working career he was employed as a laborer for a local contractor doing residential construction. His passion for music led him to be a part of the band in middle school and high school. He loved listening to music, singing and playing various instruments, including the guitar, trumpet and piano. He also loved going fishing, working on cars and doing anything outdoors. He loved spending time with family and friends. The many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all.

Memorial visitation was held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair, MO. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the family officiating. A committal took place at Horine Cemetery in Richwoods, MO following the service.
