Alan “Keith” Miller

Alan “Keith” Miller, 65, of Sullivan, MO, passed away peacefully at his home in Woodland Lakes on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Keith was born in Dexter, MO, on April 11, 1956, to Nolean Gray and Betty Lou (Brown) Beardsley. He grew up in the Valley Park area and as a young man worked as a ranch hand. On September 3, 1976, Keith was united in marriage to Evelyn Kay Beisner and they were blessed with three daughters: Heather, Heidi and Jessica. Keith and Evelyn raised their family in Valley Park, where Keith worked for Smizer Mill Ranch for a time. He was then employed by Local #2119 as a drywall hanger in the construction trade for 20 years. He retired in 2007.

In 1999, Keith and his family moved to the Sullivan area, where he enjoyed hunting, shooting guns, farming, and spending time with his family and friends. He also really enjoyed listening to music, riding horses and Harley’s.

Keith is survived by his wife, Evelyn Miller, of Sullivan, MO; three daughters: Heather Miller of Sullivan, MO, Heidi Earney and husband Jess of St. Louis, MO and Jessica Ard and husband Michael of St. Roberts, MO; nine grandchildren: Dalton, Randy and Kaylyn Stephens, Neven Kennedy, Casper, Damon, Axle, Jaxon and Irelynn Ard; one brother, Dennis Brown of Wentzville, MO; one sister, Lori Beardsley of St. Genevieve, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Wintor Euphoria Stephens Tripp; his son-in-law, Craig Thomas Stephens; his parents, Nolean and Betty Lou; one brother, Randy Beardsley; and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan. Interment followed in Anaconda Cemetery in St. Clair.

Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service at Eaton Funeral Home.
